  • Cyro-Weld™ is a range of medical-grade cyanoacrylate adhesives used for needle bonding, catheter assembly, TPE and rubber component bonding, sensor attachment, and medical device sub-assembly. All grades meet ISO 10993-5 biocompatibility requirements, and select grades additionally meet ISO 10993-10 and 10993-11 standards.

  • Choose viscosity based on joint geometry and dispensing method. Ultra-low viscosity grades (1–11 cP) are wicking grades for tight-clearance joints such as needle hubs. Low viscosity (30–130 cP) grades work for surface bonding with standard dispensing. Medium-high viscosity (600–975 cP) grades suit gap-filling, foam rubber, and vertical-surface bonding. Very-high viscosity (2,000–4,000 cP) gels are ideal for high-temperature and thermal-shock applications.

  • Cyro-Weld™ achieves bond strengths up to 5,200 PSI on plastics such as PC and PVC. Typical bond strengths on steel are 2,500–5,200 PSI, on rubber 2,200 PSI, and on aluminum 500–3,200 PSI depending on the grade selected.

  • Standard Cyro-Weld™ grades operate from −55°C to 95°C. High-temperature grades (CM-315B, CM-2500, CM-2500B) are rated from −55°C to 135°C and provide extended thermal shock resistance.

  • Yes. All Cyro-Weld™ grades meet ISO 10993-5 (cytotoxicity) biocompatibility. Select grades additionally meet ISO 10993-10 (sensitisation) and ISO 10993-11 (systemic toxicity). Select grades are also Mil-A-46050C military specification compliant.

  • Yes. Medium-high and very-high viscosity Cyro-Weld™ grades (CM-750, CM-800, CM-815, CM-2500, CM-2500B, CM-4000) are formulated for rubber, foam rubber, cloth, and wood bonding in addition to plastics and metals.
