Pyra-Sil™

Silicone Conformal Coatings

Thin-film silicone conformal coatings for PCB and electronics protection against moisture, thermal shock, salt fog, and chemical exposure. Four viscosity grades from 400 cP to 12,000 cP — for selective spray, dip, brush, or syringe dispensing.

Viscosity 400–12,000 cP · 4 grades

Pyra-Sil™

UV Silicone Adhesives & Sealants

High-performance silicone adhesives with UV + moisture dual-cure chemistry. UV fixation in 120 seconds locks parts for immediate handling; secondary moisture cure completes bond strength in shadow areas UV light cannot reach. For FIPG, conformal coating, potting, and structural sealing.

Viscosity 350–120,000 cP · 6 grades
Service temp −45°C to 260°C
UV fixation 120 sec · Moisture cure 24–72 hrs
FIPG · conformal coating · potting · sealing
Ozone and weather resistant
Epo-Weld™

High Temperature Silicone Sealer

Clear, one-component silicone sealers for moisture and electrical protection of metals, ceramics, and glass in sustained high-temperature service to 427°C (800°F). Three viscosity grades — low-viscosity penetrating liquid, medium-viscosity coating, and non-sagging paste.

Viscosity 200–25,000 cP · 3 grades
Service temp to 427°C (800°F)
Shore D80 · 9,600 PSI flexural strength
Metals · ceramics · glass · refractory
Furnace, exhaust, boiler, kiln sealing
Extreme Temperature Stability
Silicone retains flexibility and adhesion from cryogenic −45°C to sustained 427°C service — where epoxy and acrylic adhesives char, crack, or delaminate.
UV + Moisture Dual Cure
UV light locks parts in position within 120 seconds; moisture completes full cure in shadow areas — enabling high-throughput dispensing without fixturing delays or uncured bond lines.
Dielectric Insulation
Silicone's high dielectric strength makes it the preferred coating for PCBs, ceramic insulators, high-voltage assemblies, and electronic potting where electrical isolation is critical.
Chemical & Ozone Resistance
Resists aliphatic solvents, weak acids, salt fog, UV exposure, and ozone — protecting marine electronics, outdoor installations, and automotive assemblies through years of service.
Zero-Residue Peelability
Pyra-Sil™ peelable grades protect precision surfaces during abrasive, chemical, and thermal processing — then peel away cleanly in one piece, with no solvents or mechanical removal required.
Flexible Cure Pathway
Room-temperature moisture cure, rapid UV fixation, or FIPG on-demand dispensing — silicone chemistry adapts to your production flow without process changes or capital investment.
  • Incure offers four silicone product lines: Pyra-Sil™ Peelable Silicone for temporary masking during sandblasting, plating, and machining; Pyra-Sil™ Silicone Conformal Coatings for PCB and electronics protection; Pyra-Sil™ UV Silicone for rapid UV-fixation assembly with secondary moisture cure; and Epo-Weld™ HTSS high temperature silicone sealers rated to 427°C for furnace, boiler, and refractory applications.

  • All Pyra-Sil™ silicone grades are rated from −45°C to 260°C. The Epo-Weld™ HTSS high temperature silicone sealer extends this to 427°C (800°F), making it suitable for furnace doors, exhaust components, ceramic insulators, and refractory applications requiring sustained extreme-temperature performance.

  • Pyra-Sil™ UV silicones use a dual-cure chemistry: UV light rapidly fixes the adhesive within 120 seconds, locking parts for immediate handling and eliminating the need for fixturing. Moisture then completes the cure in any shadow areas UV light cannot reach. Moisture-cure-only silicones rely entirely on ambient humidity and require longer fixture times before the assembly can be moved to the next process step.

  • For conformal coating on populated PCBs, use Pyra-Sil™ Silicone Conformal Coatings (grades 864, 872, 880, or 891). Low-viscosity grades (400–600 cP) penetrate under component bodies; medium grades (800–1,200 cP) are suited for standard selective coating; the high-viscosity grade (8,000–12,000 cP) works for edge-filling and connector backshell sealing. For assemblies requiring UV fixation plus shadow cure under ICs, Pyra-Sil™ UV Silicone is the alternative.

  • Yes. Pyra-Sil™ 894 and 899 peelable silicone coatings resist the chemical baths used in electroplating, anodising, and chemical milling — protecting mating surfaces, threaded holes, and precision dimensions from unwanted coating build-up. After the plating process is complete, the cured silicone peels away cleanly in one piece with no adhesive residue left on the protected surface.

  • Epo-Weld™ HTSS silicone sealers are rated for continuous service to 427°C (800°F). All three HTSS grades — HTSS-260 (thin liquid), HTSS-261 (medium viscosity), and HTSS-263 (non-sagging paste) — cure to Shore D80 with 9,600 PSI flexural strength and maintain protective properties through sustained high-temperature service on metals, ceramics, and glass.
